The Origin and Meaning of the Name Casa Zahory
Our name reflects our essence:
Casa: Represents our home, the place where this seed begins to germinate. A space of trust, respect, and transformation.
Zahory: An ancient name of the path where we are located (Chocho Zahory), which we reclaim as part of the memory of the land. Additionally, the word Zahory symbolizes the ability to explore and discover the hidden, much like the method of finding underground water with copper rods. In this same sense, at Casa Zahory, we help people delve into their minds and emotions to find answers and inner guidance.
Our Mission
Through Music, Weaving, Yoga, Medicine, and Conscious Eating, we aim to plant the seed of Sumak Kawsay in people, an Andean principle that promotes living in harmony with nature to achieve the well-being of all.
